Do I have to pre-book?

Yes, we always advise customers to pre-book as this is the only way to guarantee your space. So whether you’re searching for Glasgow Airport parking, Gatwick Airport parking, Luton Airport parking or Edinburgh Airport parking, it’s best to book online before you travel.

By doing this, you ensure that our car parks are expecting your arrival. Pre-booking directly with us also guarantee you the cheapest prices, as our non-pre-booking prices are considerably higher.

How far in advance should I book?

We would recommend that you simply book your parking as soon as you know your final travel dates. Many of our customers book up to a year in advance to guarantee their space and get next year’s service, at this year’s price!

Do you provide transport to the airport?

Yes, all of the car parks have shuttle buses which are included within the price you are quoted for the car parking and these run an on-demand service. We recommend you arrive at least 40 minutes before your airline check-in desk opens.

What happens when I get to the car park?

What happens on arrival at your airport car park differs depending on the car park and location. Please check your confirmation email after booking for full details of what you need to do when you arrive at your chosen airport car park.

Why do you say a week is 8 days and a fortnight is 15 days?

Car parking is charged per day whereas holiday companies charge per night. This means that if you are going away from one Saturday to the next, you will have been away for 7 nights, but this is 8 days.

Do we pay when we book?

In order for your booking to be confirmed, we must receive payment. For acceptable methods of payment please see our booking conditions.

Is the car park secure and insured/who is liable for any damage?

All of our car parks have secure perimeter fencing, with security cameras and our premises are manned at all times. The full Terms and Conditions of Parking and Insurance are displayed at the reception, and are on our website, here .

I appear to have booked twice/put in the wrong details. What can I do?

We all make mistakes, don’t worry! Simply drop us an email here and we’ll get this sorted for you.

What happens if my flight is delayed and I overstay my booking period?

We understand that these circumstances are out of your control. Such events can be stressful and our promise is to keep your vehicle safe until you return. Any outstanding bills can be settled thereafter.

Do I get to keep my vehicle keys?

This depends on your chosen location and cark park.

Some of our car parks, for example, our Glasgow Airport car parks Direct Parking, Skyport and Park N Fly, operate a self-parking system. This means there is no need for us to keep your keys. Adopting this type of parking offers our customers confidence that they will return to their vehicle exactly how they left it.

Other car parks, like our Gatwick Airport car park Cophall Parking, ask to keep your keys in order to move your car from a holding car park into a long-term space while you are away. Then, we can move it back ahead of your arrival so it’s right when you left it and you can jump straight in and head home.

How often do your prices change?

What is ‘automatic check-in?’

Some airport car parks use technology which enables an automatic check-in. But what exactly does that mean?

At our Glasgow Airport car parks, we have invested heavily in cutting edge automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) technology which allows you to check in via your number plate. This service allows for complete convenience and ensures the quickest and easiest check-ins.

If you chosen car park has an ANPR/automatic check-in system, in place, simply approach the barrier and the automatic number plate recognition system will read your number plate and allow you into the car park.

Are your airport transfer buses wheelchair accessible?

Yes, all of our buses are wheelchair-friendly.

Why do we now have a new bus stop outside international arrivals at Glasgow Airport?

We are delighted to be the only off airport parking service which has a bus stop pick-up and drop-off directly outside International Arrivals at Glasgow Airport. Having listened to our customers, we now offer this unique service which takes you closer to the airport terminal and ensures that you remain dry no matter the weather conditions.

How do I cancel my booking?

To cancel a booking, please email customerservices@airportparkandride.com along with your booking reference.

Please note "can not cancel or amend" bookings are excluded - these are non-refundable bookings sold at a discounted rate. If you anticipate changes to your travel plans a "can not cancel or amend" type booking is not recommended.
